Mí Raine's Character Sheet

Mí helped me discover a litmus test for bad RPers. Evidently, her name, buried in the middle of the words 'Arrow in' and 'Knee' causes them an aneurysm in the brain that prevents them from being able to role play! Such unfortunate creatures!  Medical science has no cure for them. Her stories are currently posted here. I will move them here when I have a chance.

Mí is a cartographer/explorer who was born in Garenhoff. She is the fourth generation to follow this line of work. Her father is losing his vision, so the success of the family business weighs on her shoulders. She currently resides in Divinity Reach, where she managed to secure a commission to create a new map of the city. Her sisters, Doe and Rae, remain behind in Garenhoff, where they help their mother with her Seamstress shop.

Below are some of her pertinent details:

Name: Mí Raine
Race: Human
Prof: Cartographer/Explorer
Age: 21
Physical Description: 6', 150 lbs., well tanned, buff and beautiful! She wears make-up in a fearsome manner on her face to scare bandits.
Alignment: Lawful Good
Quote: Under Development (my notes are at home. )

Personality: Mí is cheerful, but at the same time serious. She adores her father and constantly strives to prove herself the best of the line. She knows how proud her father is of her, yet she also knows that he had always desired a boy to carry on his profession. She is quick to smile, but she does not laugh very often and has little patience for fools. She considers most men to be foolish...

Childhood: She has two sisters whom she loves, but has little in common with. They were always into girlish things and she was always brawling with the neighbor boys. She comes from a very loving and stable middle-class family and goes to visit them whenever she gets the chance, which is quite frequent as that is where her father's shop is.

Recent Experiences: She currently resides in Divinity Reach, where she managed to secure a commission to create a new map of the city. She spends her days mapping out the city and chatting with the few friends she has made along the way, most notably an odd fellow named Arathander (whom she playfully calls Kitten) and a silly Charr who calls himself Kitten.

Strengths:
She is very intelligent and has a strong work ethic and sense of honor
She is kind under the gruff exterior she holds to the world and is always willing to help those in need
She has a quirky and somewhat hidden sense of humor. She enjoys having fun, but feels there is a time and place for everything.

Weaknesses:
She has very little patience for those she considers to be fools or illogical.
She has little use for idle chit-chat or mindless entertainment. She enjoys having fun, but feels there is a time and place for everything.
She is used to being alone for long periods of time, so she can be awkward in social situations.
She is used to being attacked by wild animals and bandits, so her instinct when she perceives a threat is to kill, not fight.

Favorites:
She enjoys the beauty and solitude of nature
She loves her family and visits them frequently
She enjoys music, fairs and other events where people gather.
She loves to draw and paint, generally nature scenes or breathtaking views.

How does your character react when...
You find a powerful weapon
: Is is valuable? If so, she will take it and sell it, unless it is better than hers.
You find a coin purse: She would return it.
You find food: She would ignore it. She is capable of hunting/scavenging her own meals and does not trust strange food.
You find a trap: If it is magical, she would not recognize it. If it is man-made, she would probably see it and avoid it.
You find a corpse: Search it for valuables and any form of ID. If the latter is found, she would try to return the belongings and the news to the next of kin. If not, she would shrug, bury the body and move on with whatever she found.
You find a suspicious scroll: She would examine the scroll. If it looked valuable she would keep it and take it home for further examination. If it did not look valuable, she would examine the material. If it was of good enough quality, she would re-purpose it for notes.
