Just Dessert

You lure me in with your sultry eyes.
A bringer of death in a friendly guise.
An offered drink, a car ride home,
You awake in the morning all alone.

All that is left is a bloody smear,
The final proof that I was near.
You get dressed and head out into the night,
Another victim will suit you just right.

What did you see as my sight grew dim?
As you washed down the blood, as you severed my limbs?
Why do you kill? Is it pleasure or need?
Or some sadistic game in the life that you lead?

Who will know? Not the cop, not the stripper.
As you lead the life of a Jack the Ripper.
How many must die to quench your thirst?
When will you receive your just dessert?
